Lost Cities (2021 ed)

A classic card game from Reiner Knizia, this is one of the finest two-player games. Each turn, players play a card to advance an ‘expedition’. This increases their score in that expedition, but they must reach the minimum points needed. Otherwise, the expedition will score minus points for them when the cards run out.

It's a finely balanced game that requires planning and good decision-making – and a splash of luck! The latest (2021) edition has two versions of the game, using opposite sides of the board: the original game, with five expeditions, and a six-expedition variant.

For 2 players, aged 10+, playing time 30 minutes
