First Train to Nuremberg
This is an ingenious train game that involves collecting and delivering goods (beer!) and passengers, building railway tracks and selling out to the big companies at the right moment. Set at the very beginning of the railway age, the idea is that players are managing small investors' money, building local lines to the passengers and goods and leasing trains from bigger companies.
The key to success is making money while you can and knowing when to sell your railway lines – just before they become unprofitable!
First Train to Nuremberg is a challenging game that requires the players to think carefully about what they're doing – and what the other players are up to. It's a development of Martin Wallace's earlier game, Last Train to Wensleydale, which is also included here, using the other side of the board and the appropriate rules for this game.
For 2-4 players, aged 12+, playing time 45 minutes
First Train to Nuremberg (and Last Train to Wensleydale) was designed by Martin Wallace and is published by Argentum.
