Deep Sea Adventure
This is a clever push-your-luck game that I really enjoy. The players are undersea explorers trying to pick up treasures and get back to their submarine before their oxygen runs out.
Movement is governed by a die roll, so the question is always whether to push further or head back. The further you go, the more – and more valuable – items you can pick up. But, run out of air and you get nothing.
A neat touch is that you can also drop things you previously picked up, either to help you move faster or to take something more valuable.
Survivors score for the items they got back to the sub and the winner is the player with most points after three rounds.
For 2-6 players, aged 8+, playing time 30 minutes
Deep Sea Adventure was designed by Goro and Jun Sasaki and is published by Oink Games
