Chatuchak
The brightly coloured square pieces represent the tents of the Chatuchak market in Bangkok – "the world's largest and most diverse weekend market" says Wikipedia.
The aim is to make lines and blocks by moving pieces of the same colour around your board. However,you can only move pieces along the same row or file and only when there's a space to move to. On top of this, there's a neat timing mechanism that means players can't be sure just when the game will end.
Yes, it's competitive puzzle solving and just as demanding as any of Corné's games.
For 1-5 players, aged 9+, playing time 15-30 minutes
