Through the Ages: New Leaders and Wonders (expansion)

The forty new Wonder and Leader cards, adding new strategies and options, are just the start of this expansion to Through the Ages. There are several ways you can use the new cards: replace the original cards in each Age shuffle old and new together and use a selection for each age or shuffle dummy leader and/or wonder cards into the deck for each Age and have an array of both so that players know which will be available.

Next up is the option to replace older cards with new ones that re-balance the game. Thousands of online plays have identified the cards that are over- and under-powered ("Communism" for example) and this expansion contains replacements that redress the balance.

Then there are additional cards for the three-player game so that it lasts the same number of rounds (-ish) and complete replacements for the decks of Military cards to re-balance and add variety to these. All in all, it's a substantial add-on to the game.
