Paperback Adventures: starter set
Like the original Paperback, this is a deck-building word game. Unlike it, the words you make are matched against "a series of AI enemies". To win, you have to complete a trilogy by defeating each book's lackey and boss.
Although it's designed as a solitaire game, Paperback Adventures can be played co-operatively by a team of two.
The core game doesn't stand on its own, you need one of the three characters to make a complete game. Hence, this starter set consists of the core plus the Ex Machina character, providing a science fiction theme.
For 1-2 players, aged 14+, playing time 50-150 minutes
