On The Underground: London/Berlin
On the Underground was Sebastian Bleasdale's first published game back in 2006. This edition, from 2019, adds a second map – Berlin – and higher production quality. (And there's a second game, On the Underground: Paris/New York.)
It's played on an adapted map of a city's Underground/Metro/Subway. Players score points for linking features (landmarks, railway termini and other destinations) with the lines they build. Then, at the end of each turn, 'the passenger' moves to one or two stations, scoring points to those whose lines they use. On top of this, each map has a bonus for achieving a specific goal – the Circle line on the London board, for example.
It's a hugely tactical game that gives players lots of options and thus decisions to make.
For 2-5 players, aged 14+, playing time 60 minutes
On the Underground: London/Berlin was designed by Sebastian Bleasdale and is published by LudiCreations
