Caesar & Cleopatra (2025 ed)

It's nearly 30 years old and has been a staple in my set of two-player games for almost as long. So it's great to see a new edition. It's a game of political influence and intrigue. The aim is to get Roman officials on your side by playing your influence cards on the different classes of official. These can be face up or face down, so there's plenty of uncertainty until a class is resolved.

Players also have action cards in their hands, which allow them to do things like discarding their opponent's influence card, moving their own and so on.

The new edition has new artwork, but is otherwise the same game.

For 2 players, aged 10+, playing time 60 minutes
