This is something of a classic deduction game. The Black Box in question contains a 'molecule' – five balls placed on a grid by one player. The other player tries to deduce the positions of the balls by sending 'rays' into the box, along the grid lines. Where the ray comes out is the evidence.

There are actually two games in the box. The original, Black Box, uses a square grid, which is a tough challenge. Black Box+ has a hexagonal grid and is even harder...

For 2 players, aged 10+, playing time 15 minutes
