The changes all go towards the 10 design goals noted on the back page of the rules, including a faster start, shorter games and more agency for players.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI immediately noticed that the Bordeaux board has larger, clearer printing than the base game. In a clever touch, the flip side reproduces the base game's board, allowing you to substitute this board for the original so that this expansion fits into the box.
