Timing is crucial to get the developments you want – unless you can afford to pay extra for them. At the same time, you need to look for synergy between your developments to maximise your returns. And keep in mind the bonuses that are available at the end of the game. These can have a big effect on the final result.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHaving played it a lot, I'm impressed by \u003cem\u003eSuburbia\u003c\/em\u003e. It's a clever game where you need to keep an eye on what's coming up in the market and just what your opponents are up to. There's great satisfaction in putting together a good mix of developments, even if your borough isn't the best, which means the game is good fun even when (like me!) you're losing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe second edition is in a bigger box – not least because the tiles are bigger – and has refreshed artwork.
