The players are archæologists trying to re-construct the town, identifying the robbery's landmarks amongst the town's known 22 buildings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eGads Hill 1874\u003c\/em\u003e is a game of deduction: players use their 'clue' cards to establish possible locations for each building. As more clues are played, the possibilities narrow down until a definite location is established and the building tile placed on the board.
