They do this by taking control of the provinces around the Mediterranean, using their available 'influence' chips.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"GFPStd\"\u003eThis is where it gets tricky as players only have a few chips at a time and they're drawn at random (the same mechanism is used in \u003cem\u003eBlitzkrieg!\u003c\/em\u003e). There's also a clever difference between playing the last chip on a province, which gets one reward, and controlling it, which gets another.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"GFPStd\"\u003eIt's a really clever two-player tussle, with a useful solitaire option for learning how to play.
